As we head full steam toward the election, I am taking a moment to reflect on the support I have received from you, my friends and family, support which I know I can continue to rely on as I enter this important year of my life . I hope that you will be able to take an evening to join me and my campaign at my Birthday Celebration, 7pm this Wednesday, and 230 Fifth Avenue.

Bring Back Our Booths
The MTA recently decided to remove the service booths and agents from the 86th and Lexington Avenue subway stop. As a result, vandalism has been steadily rising, leading to malfunctioning MetroCard machines. If you believe safe, secure, and accessible public transportation is a right, please sign our petition. Join me in this worthy cause by volunteering your time, because it is your support that will make the difference.

Share Your Stories on Roosevelt Island Public Safety

There have been a number of incidents involving public safety officers and residents that have raised significant concerns about the role of public safety. Some residents don't feel comfortable or safe on Roosevelt Island because of public safety.

We are committed to working with residents to ensure that there is good governance by bringing this matter to the attention of the State's Inspector General and the media. We are also committed to standing up and fighting for the rights of Roosevelt Islanders.

Action needs to be taken to hold the public safety department accountable and to ensure the safety of all Roosevelt Islanders. There needs to be oversight over the public safety department. We propose creating a community review board of public safety.

We have created a page on our website where anyone who has been a victim of public safety can speak up and voice their concerns. We urge individuals to come forward and share their story with us.
